on my walk home from work of an evening, I walk past boon tat street and cut through lau pa sat... its nice how boon tat street becomes an outdoor useable space by night and the cars just go another way. Lau pa sat is an amazing building, made in the 19th century...

its ok to love another man

living away from your family certainly has it's challenges, although there is always skype, email and the telephone to communicate, keep in touch and express feelings... how do I let my man henry (pictured below) know that I miss him?! maybe its the thought that counts...

pulau ubin

pulau ubin is just a short boat ride from singapore and costs around 5 dollars... best to start your adventure with nasi lemak for breakfast at the changi village hawker centre, its famous! 

once you arrive at the island you basically find a bike for the day (sounds simple, but best to barter for your bike!) and then you are off...pack snacks for your intervals and finish the day with coconut juice, the cold ones from the fridge are best!
